  • The magic of live painting:

    As a live wedding painter, I create original artworks of a wedding ceremony or reception in real-time, capturing special moments as they happen. Couples and guests can see the creative process unfold while I paint key events like the ceremony, first dance, or cake cutting. The finished painting serves as a lasting keepsake, and adds both a personalized touch and a unique element to the wedding event.

  • Once upon a process:

    Live wedding painting captures a couple's special day as it’s happening. It starts with a meeting to discuss style, colors, and expectations. I will also offer several examples of painting styles to help visualize exactly what the desired outcome will look like when finished.

    On the wedding day, I will set up my easel and materials in a designated area in view of significant moments, such as the vows and the first dance, while being in sight of guests and offering an air of entertainment to onlookers.

    After the ceremony, I will move to the reception, to continue working on the painting while providing an intimate and personal element to the festivities.

  • Perfecting the memories:

    I will continue to refine the artwork in my studio, as the process of final touch-ups begins. This critical phase ensures that I don’t leave out important details while caught up in the excitement of the venue.

    Studio refining involves scrutinizing every detail, ensuring colors blend harmoniously and that the mood of the piece resonates with the memory it captures. I will revisit specific elements, enhancing highlights and shadows to add depth and dimension, giving life to the emotions conveyed through the artwork. A final varnish will be applied.

    Average completion time is 3-4 weeks post-ceremony.

  • Happily Ever after:

    Once the painting is finished and varnished, the selection of the frame becomes paramount. A frame not only protects the artwork but also complements it, enhancing its visual appeal. Options may range from classic, ornate designs that evoke traditional elegance to modern, sleek profiles that resonate with contemporary tastes.

    Ultimately, the finished piece, framed with care, offers a lasting tribute to a special day, inviting viewers to experience the joy and love encapsulated within the artwork.

    The painting can either be arranged for delivery or picked up from my studio in downtown Georgetown.

  • Base Pricing & Sizes:

    Listed sizes/prices are only for the paintings & setup/service themselves; to give an idea for budgeting purposes.

    16”x20” - $1500

    18”x24” - $1750

    20”x24” - $2000

    24”x30” - $2400

    30”x40” - $3000

    Custom sizing requests are also available.

    Aside from the original artwork, I can create smaller prints as gifts to family members, friends, etc. Common sizes for these prints are 5”x7”, 8”x10”, and 9”x12”. Depending on the size, the costs average between $15 and $30 per print.
